Network Engineer 
 
Job Overview
 
Contract role focused on designing, implementing, securing, and supporting modern enterprise network infrastructures in on-premises and cloud environments for a 6 to 12 month engagement with hybrid work requirements."
 
Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructures covering LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and cloud connectivity.
• Implement and support Zero Trust Network Access architectures and security best practices.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security policies.
• Deploy and support Prisma Access and Prisma Cloud solutions.
• Manage switching and routing environments using Cisco and HPE/Aruba technologies.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and security posture using enterprise monitoring and SIEM tools.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure network integration.
• Support VPN technologies, network segmentation, NAC, and identity-aware access controls.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for network and security issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when applicable.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in network or infrastructure engineering
• Experience implementing or supporting Zero Trust security models
• Experience with cloud networking concepts in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, or Aruba credentials
