  • Here are the key responsibilities in detail:


    • Lead a Global Compliance Program: Oversee the design and implementation of a comprehensive compliance program to ensure the proper review, classification, and management of technologies under ITAR and dual-use export control regulations.


    • Technology Marking and Archiving: Ensure all technologies, whether stored physically or digitally, are appropriately marked and archived in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.


    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with multiple teams, including HR, Digital Technology, Procurement, and various business units, to align efforts and ensure the program's objectives are met efficiently and effectively.


    • Program Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables, and adapt these as necessary to address challenges, ensure timely completion, and achieve strategic goals.


    • Monitor Progress and Mitigate Risks: Regularly track the program's progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective measures to maintain momentum and achieve desired outcomes.


    • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate program updates, risks, and results to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.


    • Training and Expertise Sharing: Provide training, guidance, and support to team members and relevant stakeholders on trade compliance, export control regulations, and best practices in project management.


    • Policy and Procedure Development: Establish and refine compliance policies, create monitoring tools, and implement procedures to ensure the accurate and ongoing classification of technologies.


    • IT Requirements and Standards: Define and implement IT requirements and "Golden Rules" to support trade compliance efforts, ensuring systems and processes are optimized for regulatory adherence.


    • Drive Innovation in Compliance Practices: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in technology classification and compliance, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of regulatory excellence.



    This role is integral to protecting the organization's intellectual property, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enabling the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions to global customers.

Jouw profiel

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Expert in Trade Compliance: In-depth knowledge of ITAR and dual-use regulations, with a proven ability to apply this expertise to global compliance programs.
  • Experienced Project Manager: Skilled in managing complex, cross-functional projects with strong planning, execution, and monitoring capabilities.
  • Highly Organized and Detail-Oriented: Adept at handling multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effectively collaborating with teams and presenting to stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solver and Innovator: Skilled in analyzing challenges, developing solutions, and implementing best practices in compliance and technology management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with both digital and physical systems for archiving and marking technologies.
  • Educational Background: Holds a bachelor's or master's degree in Law.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Possesses project management certifications like PMP or Six Sigma, demonstrating expertise and commitment to excellence.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Works effectively across departments and with diverse teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Proactive and Results-Driven: Takes initiative, prioritizes tasks effectively, and delivers measurable outcomes that support the organization's goals.
