Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Tax Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the real estate sector.

As Tax Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for: You oversee all operations within the Group related to taxes (international scope: Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Luxemburg, UK/Jersey/Isle of Man, Finland, Sweden, Ireland and Spain); You manage all direct (excluding wage tax) and indirect tax/VAT compliance and reporting obligations of the Group in cooperation with tax advisors; You are responsible for the quarterly tax reporting obligations of the Group (IFRS reporting); You work closely together with the Group Treasurer to optimize cash management within the Group and improve cash upstreaming; You optimize debt structuring and intercompany loans; You prepare and review transfer pricing documentation; You optimize group structure from a fiscal perspective; You provide expertise on tax related issues in M&A and disposals; You support the accounting & controlling team in tax planning and risk management; You manage contacts with the tax administration (negotiate agreements and rulings, provide answers to queries, tax audits, etc.) and external tax advisors; You monitor changes in tax legislation applicable to the Group; You will be reporting to the Group CFO.

Jouw profiel

The required profile for the Tax Manager (m/f/x) position: You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance with additional qualification in tax and strong affinity with accounting and treasury; You have 6 to 10 years of work experience (tax, accounting, treasury); Experience in real estate is considered as a plus; You are fluent in English, Dutch and French; You have excellent communication and self-management skills.
