Jobomschrijving

Our customer offers a wide range of different products and services and each of your shipment will be handled with care and professionality. There services cover moving general cargo, perishables, dangerous goods and pharma.  They are looking for an Agent Inhouse Sales & Customer Service. You will be part of the team responsible for selling their products and services within Belgium. You are an enthusiastic, motivated, customer-friendly, proactive, eager-to-learn team player with a focus on achieving sales targets. You are the customers' point of contact and are happy to speak to them on the phone.

Some of your duties include:

  • Negotiating with customers on ad hoc requests and tender processes (RFQ)
  •  Analyzing the customer allocations and booking performance
  •  Analyzing the feasibility of a freight request
  •  Advising customers on the best possible flight offer
  •  Booking freight shipments in the Cargolux system and coordinating with LUX Reservations
  •  Follow-up of customer service issues (import, export, load control)
  •  Ensuring good communication flow between customer and Cargolux
  •  Updating cargo-related information in the system
  •  Collecting and producing data for invoicing and revenue calculation
  •  Coordinating daily truck handling

Jouw profiel

Essential Requirements For The Position:

  • Education Bachelor Logistics Management or similar
  • 1-3 years of experience in cargo preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
  • Motivated and 'sales oriented' with a pro-active approach
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team
  • Excellent planning and organization skills in order to prioritize and make decisions within tight deadlines.
  • Be able to interact openly and comfortably with different groups of people
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of Cargo booking systems is a bonus
