Fund Legal Specialist M/V/X

Beschrijving van de functie

For one of our clients active in the asset management sector, we are seeking a Fund Legal Specialist to strengthen their legal department.

• Organise and monitor the day-to-day legal affairs of Belgian funds: board meetings, general meetings, updating legal documentation (prospectuses, articles of association, shareholder notices, KID/PRIIPs, etc.).
• Overseeing the production of periodic and SFDR reports (annual and half-yearly).
• Managing interactions with regulatory authorities (FSMA), notaries and external service providers.
• Maintaining relationships with internal partners (custodian bank, transfer agent, fund administrator).
• Using and updating specific IT platforms and tools related to compliance and legal obligations.
• Contribute to the pan-European distribution of Belgian funds, in particular through registrations with external service providers.
• Participate in fund creation, liquidation or restructuring projects.
• Monitor regulatory and legislative developments relating to investment funds.
• Represent the department in working groups (BEAMA) and take part in internal meetings/training sessions.

Jouw profiel

• You have a law degree (minimum bachelor's degree).
• You have 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in banking, portfolio management, a law firm or consultancy.
• You are bilingual in French and Dutch, with an excellent level of English.
• You are proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
