Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid - 3 days remote per week)

About the Role:
We're looking for a highly skilled WPF Specialist with deep expertise in XAML and .NET to join our team in Brussels. This is not your average developer role - we need a go-to expert, the person others call when they're stuck. You'll be tackling complex UI challenges, optimizing WPF performance, and helping guide the team through technical roadblocks.

WPF Specialist - The role
 

• Serve as the in-house WPF/XAML expert, supporting developers and resolving complex technical issues.
• Design, implement, and optimize advanced user interfaces in WPF.
• Collaborate with backend developers and Architect to ensure smooth integration with .NET systems.
• Review and refactor existing XAML code for maintainability and performance.
• Help shape best practices and development standards for WPF across the team.

WPF Specialist - Your profile
 

• Expertise in WPF and deep knowledge of XAML.
• Strong background in .NET (C#).
• Ability to debug and optimize complex WPF applications.
• Familiarity with MVVM architecture and related patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to support others under pressure.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
   

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UI performance tuning in WPF.

• Exposure to legacy WPF migration or modernization projects.
