Security Engineer (h/f)

As a Security Engineer you will be overseeing the IT-security of our company and you primary responsibility will be to investigate and resolve incidents.

You will be part of a multinational team spread over different geographical locations in order to support StepStone Group IT-Security.

Develop further our IT-Security monitoring solutions. Detect, investigate, contain and remediate security events or incidents. Implement threat hunting to pro-actively detect threats Detect and recommend possible IT-Security solutions to increase our visibility Implement new security solutions cloud oriented to detect misconfigurations and prevent incidents. Create meaningful dashboards for continuous monitoring and alerting. Manage our SIEM solution, integrate new data log sources, creating uses cases and act upon alerts.

Essential Proven experience as a Security Engineer Malware and phishing knowledge Attack vectors related to AD infrastructure Understanding of TCP stack.   Desirable SOC experience AWS cloud security ArcSight SIEM proven experience Web application Attacks WAF, CrowdStrike, MITRE Framework. Tenable Security Center Red-Team activities
