Estimator (m/v)

• Analyzing the received repair specifications from the clients
• Calculation and preparation of the total quotation, in excel format, based on the received info of the clients
• Contacting vendors and review received offers to obtain the correct prices for the estimation files
• Estimating required man hours and materials, for specified work
• Contacting the clients for additional required information and to send out the final quotation, after management approval
• Follow up and responding to client¿s queries and adjust and / or update the file were necessary
• Close contact with colleagues of the estimation, commercial and technical departments
   

Profiel

• Degree marine engineer or similar work experience
• Strong English (technical) language skills, other languages are a surplus
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills, specifically Excel
• Experience in a ship repair business
• Motivated & willing to learn, you are a team player and you don¿t have a ¿Nine-to-Five¿ mentality
• Knowledge of ships and ship systems
• Confident to work on an independent base
