Born in 2013 with Olivier & Sébastien, the project has been supported by an active community from the early days. It represents an alternative view of Brussels: multicultural, contemporary & vibrant!
Belgium is no dusty beer museum and we're on a mission to keep writing the beer story of today and tomorrow.
We brew one new beer every 2 months, we welcome brewers from all around the world and our community is always engaged.
Beyond beer, we want to set an example of a responsible company and be a reason of pride in our community. We made the first beer made of unsold bread in the world, now a symbol of circular economy, already 5 years ago and have been pushing our own boundaries ever since.

Advise customers on the vast selection of beers available, communicate your passion for good beer
Share the history of the Brussels Beer Project brewery
Update menus: beer list and prices
Take monthly inventory
Train teams
Animation
Open the bar: set up the terrace and the room
Start-up of beer taps
Check the cleanliness of the premises and the availability of consumables (toilet paper/towels, etc.)
Ensure beer and catering service: serve beers, explain the specificities of each beer, change kegs, prepare boards, manage beepers
Do the weekly deliveries (heavy lifting of the goods), take the responibility of the delivery outcome
Keeping an eye on the floor and the clients incase there is someone to take care of (pick pockets, people under influence)
Ensure cleanliness of counter, back counter and fountains
Do a weekly schedule for the bar staff and the kitchen
Cash customers (credit card only)
Close the bar: tidy up the terrace and the room, close the cash register, clean the bar area and taps.

Working long hours, late in the evening
Profil
Energetic and organized: you need to be able to get things done during rush hours, maintaining a flow of the service behind the bar and in the kitchen as well
Working well and efficiently under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team: solidarity is important to us!
Have a smile and be pleasant
A strong interest and knowledge in craft beers
You already have three or more bar experiences out of which one year is in the craft beer bar!
Be resourceful and autonomous in the day-to-day running of the site.
Manage technical problems conditions, a hand on the technical stuff
A very good knowledge of English is required C1 at least
Very big plus would be knowing French and some of the languages including Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Italian (because of the international team and costumers)
Availability: 5 evenings a week, including Saturday evenings and Sunday (the bar is open every day)
Meals served on site, pizza and antipasti
You already have three or more bar experiences out of which one year is in the craft beer bar!
