Daily Banking - the heart of BNPPF - is managing the (backend of) product and process lifecycle of Accounts, Cards and ATM's in a way to be considered as reference for the Belgian market in full innovative digitization
 
 

Your Future Job 

 
As a Senior Developer/Coach

• Your focus will be on development and maintenance of IT Services related to the lifecycle management of Daily Banking Products
  • Publish software design documents based upon architectural study and swagger definition
  • Develop high code quality API's and µ-services using frameworks, tools and methodologies implemented in BNPPF and guidelines/best practices published in Daily Banking 
  • Support main stakeholders in the CI/CD approach, deployment activities CDD
• You will take up transversal coaching tasks on embedding of development best practices & guidelines, review code and assure overall code quality in Daily Banking and support re-factoring initiatives on current Daily Banking API-landscape 
• You will support Daily Banking in its migration to cloud technologies
• Your insights, experiences and ideas in DevOps will contribute to Daily Banking's IT process-improvements

 

Play your cards

• Distributed Technologies & Tools (Spring, Maven, Springboot, Java, Oracle, API, Swagger, Gitlab, Jenkins, Sonar) are part of your DNA
• Knowledge of development framework SiteFactory is a plus, as well as Docker, Kubernetes and PostgreSQL
• Your experience with middleware (MQ, zOS Connect, SOAP) can be the distinguishing factor
• Your inspiring ideas on CI/CD will certainly convince us
• You have good coaching skills: you let your colleagues grow by embedding best practices and coding guidelines
• You have been working in Agile-modus for some years
• You are open for feedback but even more important, as loyal team player you know how to give feedback in a respectful and constructive way 
• Affinity with Daily Banking products will certainly facilitate your onboarding
• Awareness of IT Architecture-processes is a plus
• You are capable to interact written and orally in English - Dutch and/or French as well is a plus
