The client is looking for a District Manager - Premium Food sector - to join his team and cover the Brussels or Wallonia regio.

The company is seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Manager with a passion for premium retail excellence. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our company through his current transformation into the premium retail segment. Your primary focus will be on fostering excellence, ensuring customer delight, and utilizing your expertise to elevate our retail operations to premium standards. Besides, you will have an important role as coach by supporting the store managers during this transition. You will also be responsible for setting regional goals such as sales estimates and revenue projections, ensuring that marketing efforts are consistent across each store, managing a regional budget and ensuring that each store operates within the budget, among other duties. Responsibilities: Premium Retail Leadership: Lead by example in championing the premium retail philosophy. Install a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences. Operational Excellence: Oversee the implementation of best practices in premium retail operations. Continuously assess and improve store performance, visual merchandising, and inventory management to ensure a top-tier shopping environment. Customer Delight: Work with your teams to create a memorable and personalized shopping experience that sets us apart in the premium retail industry. Proactively gather and utilize customer feedback to drive improvements. Team Development: Coach and mentor store managers and their teams to excel in providing premium service. Empower them to uphold our premium brand standards and engage customers at a superior level. Financial Accountability: Manage district budgets and P&L to maximize profitability while upholding the premium brand image. Implement cost-effective strategies and sales initiatives. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, providing strategic insights to adapt and innovate our premium retail approach. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources, to ensure alignment in support of our premium retail objectives.

Profil

Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred. At least 10 years of proven similar experience in premium retail management, ideally in a multi-store environment. In-depth knowledge of premium retail trends and customer expectations. Leadership and decision-making ability with a focus on sense of urgency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Quantitative aptitude and experience managing budgets. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Food experience or affinity. Fluent in French, English, and Dutch
