Description de la fonction

We are currently hiring a Local System Administrator, to join the multicultural team of a prestigious European Institution in Belgium. In this role you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks that involve managing, maintaining, and optimizing various systems and applications.
 
 

Your missions

• Maintain the server procedures manual and disaster recovery plans for the managed systems and applications.
• Administer and monitor a variety of servers, including Windows, Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), and database servers. This involves performance monitoring and optimization.
• Handle backup and restore operations for user and configuration data.
• Monitor and administer network resources such as shared printers, network drives, SharePoint resources, and more.
• Analyze and resolve incidents, including preliminary diagnosis of software and Hardware issues. Coordinate with other IT departments and third-party maintenance contractors for efficient problem resolution.
• Provide third-level support for users, troubleshoot incidents, and work towards their resolution.
• Monitor network printers to ensure smooth operation.
• Create, update, and delete user accounts in Active Directory.
• Record and process daily requests via EPSD, the ticketing tool.

 

Your profile

• You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• You have very good oral and written communication skills, and you can communicate fluently in English and French.
• You are ITIL certified (or you are open to pass the certification before the start date of the mission).
• You have very good skills in MS Windows Server, RedHat Server, SharePoint services, network Storage and associated management technologies.
• You are a team player who likes to work in an international environment.
• A strong working knowledge of Windows Server is essential.
• A good working knowledge of Linux server systems is a plus.
• Very good working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policies and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in scripting languages and tools, preferably PowerShell.
• Good knowledge of Virtualization and server provisioning technologies.
