Position: Business Analyst - Sustainable Investments Do you believe that Finance can be a force for good rather than just a playground for profit-driven individuals? What You'll Do: As a Business Analyst, you'll be at the ForeFront of shaping the product and implementing it for our clients. Your role is pivotal, as you'll work alongside a dynamic team to define functionalities based on client needs and technical considerations. Your impact will be substantial, contributing to the product roadmap for one of our key clients, a major French bank committed to expanding their sustainable investments offerings. You'll be the go-to expert for sustainable investments, both within our team and among fellow business analysts.
 
 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in workshops aimed at creating innovative sustainable investment solutions.
• Collaborate closely with our major French banking client to define and deliver new functionalities in sustainable investments.
• Listen and grasp the needs of clients and market trends.
• Translate these needs into actionable solutions, leveraging existing products and working closely with our architects and senior experts.
• Work with fellow business and functional analysts to convert these requirements into developer and QA-friendly functional specifications.
• Take charge of, or lead, the client's system enhancements and roadmap.
• Adapt and respond swiftly to the ever-changing FinTech landscape, with opportunities to engage directly with clients and travel to meet them and potential prospects.

 

Qualifications and Skills

 
Education and Experience:

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in business, with a strong focus on banking, sustainable investment, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Display a genuine interest in, or experience with, sustainable investments, with a willingness to become a specialist in this domain.
• Bring at least 5 years of experience in facilitating workshops for software development projects.
• Previous experience in the banking sector, especially in investment advisory activities, is a valuable asset.

 

Technical Skills

• Possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to quickly grasp and troubleshoot issues within IT-focused projects.
• Demonstrate proficiency in communication tools like PowerPoint, Miro, and others.
• Leverage your extensive experience in facilitating workshops.
• Prove your passion for sustainable investment topics.
• Exhibit familiarity with digital applications and/or information technologies.
• Possess basic knowledge of project management.
• Experience with business process modeling techniques, such as BPMN, is a significant advantage.
• A foundation in Finance and experience with SQL are both pluses.
