A Belgian company active in the banking sector is currently looking to hire a Regulatory Reporting Manager to join their offices in Brussels.

Reporting to the CFO you will manage the Regulatory Reporting Department.

Your main responsibilities as the new Regulatory Reporting Manager will include: Manage and supervise a team, provide coaching and training Produce quality regulatory reports on time Carry out and document audits of department activities Carry out regulatory watch and related studies Contribute to the validation of functional specifications & acceptance testing exercises for automation projects with Group IT departments Identify improvements to be made to the system to guarantee operational efficiency Collaborate with the Risk Department and business units on all common issues Participate in working groups and workshops Manage certain contacts with the regulatory

Profil

Your profile: You are fluent in French and Dutch. You have a good level of English You have a master's degree in economics, finance, accounting or a related field You have at least 5 years' relevant experience (auditing financial institutions, advising on regulatory reporting or working for a bank) You have experience in people management You have a solid knowledge of banking regulations Your strengths: You are self-motivated You are able to work independently and as part of a team You have strong organizational skills You are flexible and adaptable
