Support Engineer - Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the main contact for customers: communicate clearly, register, classify, and follow up on incidents, ensuring SLA compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve issues, or escalate to the right teams; analyze logs, configurations, and hardware/software to propose effective solutions.
  • Prepare, install, and maintain hardware worldwide, while supporting remote maintenance infrastructure and system monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the development team on software implementations and ensure smooth follow-up.
  • Provide standby support when required and serve as the key interface between the client 

     

Profil

Support Engineer - Your Profile

  • Degree in IT (or equivalent), with strong problem-solving skills, stress resistance, and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Solid technical knowledge: databases (queries), networking (TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP/HTTPS, wireless protocols), operating systems (Linux, Windows), monitoring tools (ELT, Zabbix), tracing tools (Wireshark, Fiddler), and source control/DevOps (automation, deployment, Ansible).
  • Familiar with ITIL processes and experienced in software development.
  • Professional, reliable, and structured work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
