An International tech company who works in the e-mobility is looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join their skilled team

Your work will have a meaningful impact on road marking, urban and interurban traffic management, parking, and public transport. You will be a member of a team creating mission critical networks, so not simple networks for enterprise environments.

Security Engineer - The Job

• Network Design & Implementation: Design, configure, implement, validate, and monitor IP/Security network solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and partner certifications (Cisco, Fortinet).
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Use management systems for real-time monitoring, participate in 24/7 rotations, perform root-cause analysis, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with customers, peers, and vendors.
• Support & Maintenance: Guide field support teams, oversee installation and maintenance, schedule and track preventive/corrective actions, and perform site inspections.
• Performance & Documentation: Collect and analyze network performance statistics, propose improvements, and maintain accurate system documentation.

• Safety & Best Practices: Promote and ensure a safety-conscious work environment by following and influencing adherence to company's protocols and safe work practices.

   

Profil

Security Engineer - The Perfect Match

• Personal traits: Proactive, reliable, organized, self-motivated; works well independently or in teams; analytical and open to new technologies.
• Communication: Confident with clients and managers; delivers clear technical presentations; fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
• Technical skills: Engineering degree and/or CCNA; experience or willingness to learn IP/security networks, telecom, or IT infrastructures.
• Adaptability: Manages multiple tasks and adapts to changing projects and priorities.

• Practical: Valid driver's license.
