Robert Half is currently looking for a HR Director (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.
The company is a non-profit organization active in the societal sector.
In your role you will report directly to the COO.
Concretely, you will be responsible for:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier professionals who align with the organization's mission and values.
- Optimize hiring processes to identify candidates with the strategic mindset and skills required to drive impactful initiatives forward.
- Develop and oversee seamless onboarding processes that integrate new hires effectively and set them up for success.
Talent Development Framework
- Design and manage a comprehensive employee development framework that supports growth at all levels, based on the 70-20-10 principle: 70% through experience, 20% via coaching, and 10% through structured training.
- Drive initiatives to continuously enhance individual and team capabilities, empowering employees to thrive and meet organizational goals.
- Build a broader educational platform within the talent framework to train future "change-makers," turning it into an asset for recruitment.
Performance Management & Employee Lifecycle
- Lead and manage the full employee lifecycle, ensuring transparent processes for evaluations, feedback, and career development.
- Collaborate with leadership to execute efficient performance management strategies that foster continuous improvement and accountability.
Culture Building & Leadership
- Champion a strong organizational culture rooted in our core values, fostering inclusion, collaboration, and purpose across all levels.
- Strengthen engagement and team cohesion through innovative and strategic initiatives that align with the organization's ethos.
- Actively contribute to the extended executive committee, shaping the organizational strategy and helping steer the organization's growth trajectory.
Dynamic People Allocation
- Develop and manage a flexible approach to resource allocation across projects, balancing organizational needs and individual development goals.
- Use data-driven forecasts to align staffing with current priorities and adjust dynamically, ensuring optimal project outcomes.
Data-Driven HR & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor key metrics such as satisfaction and retention to ensure scalable, efficient HR processes that meet organizational needs.
The required profile is:
- Strong expertise in employee development, including designing structured training programs and managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Proven leadership experience in an HR role, with demonstrated success in shaping forward-looking HR strategies.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate at senior management levels and engage diverse teams.
- Experience leveraging HR analytics to refine strategies and inform decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on impact and innovation.
- Fluency in English (minimum C1 level); additional languages are a plus.
- Background in social enterprises or initiatives addressing societal issues, such as health, environment, or social equity.
- Passion for driving impact within sectors like precision medicine, sustainability, climate change, rare diseases, or patient engagement.
