Junior Simulator Technician M/V/X

Your duties and responsibilities:

• Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities.
• Perform preflight and post flight on designated simulators.
• Run and evaluate periodic quality tests for device certification (EASA).
• Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications.
• Learn and comply with CAE Health, safety and environment standards.
• Learn and comply with CAE Quality system.
• Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.
• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.
• Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair and testing/validation.
• Perform administrative tasks as required.
• Perform tasks to support the technical services group.

Profil

• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics or willing to learn.
• Knowledge or experience with minicomputers: Arduino/Raspberry Pi is a plus.
• Software experience: Automatization/Control techniques.
• Proficiency in soldering and circuit board repairs.
• Knowledge of MS-Office
• Willing to work in shifts, nights and weekend.
• You are a team player with a service-oriented attitude.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch Language. Knowledge of the French Language is a plus.
