afarax is looking for a freelance Network Engineer. We need you!
Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to strengthen their team.

Function description

• In your role, you will work on the “Remote Access (RA) system” (back-end of Cisco AnyConnect for the people working from home).
• You will be in charge to give support, maintain the architecture, update the farm of ASA Firepower servers & be the specialist on the technology.
• You will equally work with people located in Belgium & in a joined support team within the group.
• As secondary mission you will equally work on specific network assets and services.

Is this you?

• Good to fluent in Dutch and French
• Fluent in English (all documentation is in English)
• Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience in IT Network administration
• Certification on one of the described technologies is a plus
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with network equipment, daily management,
• Incident solving and migration/upgrade projects
• Senior experience with the following products:
  • Cisco Anyconnet
  • RSA
  • Cisco switching & routing
  • Fortinet Firewalls & Fortinet Manager
• Relevant experience in large entreprise networks
• Can work independent and focused to deliver on time and according to planning
• Good communicator
• Customer-orientation
• Risk consciousness
• Flexible and accurate
• Experience in Agile way of working
• Team player
• Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomous & committed
• Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment
