Description de la fonction

We are looking for an Electromechanical Application Engineer with a hands-on mindset. You will be the driving force behind the electrical design of projects and provide support in mechanical design where needed.
Whether it’s one-off customer-specific solutions, product development, or innovation projects, you ensure everything is technically sound and forward-looking.
This is a dynamic and multidisciplinary role for someone who thrives on collaboration, responsibility, and creating impact in a fast-growing sector.

What You’ll Do
Electrical design & project lead
Design schematics, wiring, and layouts for BESS systems.
Take ownership of the Bill of Materials (BoM) for electrical components.
Select and integrate inverters, BMS, HVAC, safety systems, and power distribution hardware.
Develop wiring looms, define pinouts, and contribute to battery State of Health analyses.
Participate in R&D and innovation projects.
Support testing and on-site commissioning.
Work closely with software and controls teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Mechanical design support
Contribute to layout and enclosure design using Autodesk Inventor.
Provide input on space constraints, accessibility, and safety integration.
Ensure mechanical aspects support maintainability and safety requirements.

Collaboration & innovation
Work cross-functionally with R&D, manufacturing, aftersales, and project teams.
Contribute to documentation, test protocols, and certification files.
Keep up to date with trends in energy storage, power systems, and industry standards.

Profil

Master’s degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field – or equivalent experience.
Solid experience with electrical design and wiring in industrial or energy environments.
Familiarity with EPLAN, SolidWorks, and/or Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
Understanding of battery systems, power electronics, or energy storage is an advantage.
Hands-on, analytical, and proactive mindset.
Strong communicator, fluent in English or Dutch.
Able to manage multiple projects in parallel without losing overview.
