GL Accountant - Zaventem - IT M/V/X

My client is a growing IT company that proposes various products & services to its B2C & B2B customers. The company offers a long term perspective for your career growth and has a strong company culture where individual well-being, team work and work-life balance are central.

As Senior GL Accountant you are part of a team of 5 accountants. You directly report to the Finance Manager and act as his "right hand".

Your main tasks are the following:

• Being in charge of the GL accounting of the company and its entities;
• Supervising the monthly and annual closings;
• Preparing the VAT & Tax declarations;
• Doing the intercompany reconciliations;
• Preparing and publishing the annual accounts;
• Acting as a point of contact for the audit;
• Working closely with the Finance & HR teams;
• Optimization of the processes & reporting systems.

Profil

The successful candidate ideally matches the following qualities:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting / Finance / Management;
• At least 5 years of accounting experience under BE-GAAP.
• Fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of English;
• Strong ability to communicate;
• Good knowledge of Excel;
• Being able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
