As a foreman in structural construction for this job vacancy in the Vlaams-Brabant region, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks. Here's a practical overview of this job:
- you will be provided with a van;
- your work schedule will be highly flexible;
- your workday will vary greatly;
- one day, you may be working on the ground, and the next day, you may be on the roof or working on a facade;
- you will work alongside a colleague who picks you up every morning;
- you will take the lead on the projects and also get hands-on;
- you will carry out all work based on a construction plan;
- you will communicate with the site manager about the tasks to be performed;
- you will carry out various structural construction works;
- you will perform various manual tasks on different construction sites;
- you will assist in formwork;
- you will assist in concrete works;
- you will adjust pressure layers;
- you will pour pressure layers;
- you will carry out various types of masonry work, including concrete blocks, bricks, and Ytong blocks;
- you will install blue stone sills;
- you will be responsible for the execution of PVC drainage;
- you will positively supervise your closest colleague as needed;
- you will take care of all the equipment provided to you;
- you will prioritize safety on all construction sites.

Profil

For this position as a foreman in structural construction in Vlaams-Brabant, we are looking for someone who is proactive. The following qualities are highly relevant:

- having no experience as a foreman is not a problem;

- it would be a plus if you could operate a telescopic boom lift;
- if you don't have a Class C driver's license, you are willing to obtain it at the company's expense;
- you are a responsible individual;
- you are flexible with different construction sites;
- you can read and interpret a construction plan;
- you are interested in supervising a colleague;
- you can communicate effectively with your own team as well as with site management;
- you are transparent and honest with others;
- you are flexible with various distances;
- if you don't have a VCA certificate, you are willing to obtain it at Accent Construct's expense;
- you function well in a team but can also take the lead;
- you prefer working on larger construction sites;
- you are always mindful of your safety and that of your colleagues on the site.
