afarax is looking for a freelance Senior DBA administrator. We need you!
Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced Senior DBA administrator to strengthen their team.

You will be responsible for the following tasks

• Maintenance of MS SQL, Oracle and other databases
• Analyze and solve issues related to databases
• Performance troubleshooting and improvements
• Daily checks (PRTG/Splunk alerts, backup jobs)

Is this you?

• English is mandatory
• Dutch and/or French is optional
• Bachelor in IT
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Windows Server 2019, 2022
• RHEL
• Oracle
• MS SQL
• MariaDB, Postgres, Cassandra is a plus
• Team player
• Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
• Good communication skills
• Good analytical and synthesis skills
• Autonomy and commitment
• Logical reasoning and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
