• Translate energy regulations into practical advice for business units
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and energy-related contracts
• Support renewable energy projects: land tenure, collaboration agreements, tenders, permits
• Advise on urban planning, real estate, environmental, energy, and commercial law
• Ensure compliance for grid-related projects in Belgium
• Assist with behind-the-meter projects (solar, battery storage, EV charging)
• Coordinate notarization processes and manage legal documentation
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance
• Prepare internal legal documents and board presentations
• Support legal audits, contract management, and dispute resolution

Profil

• Belgian Master's degree in Law
• 3 to 8 years of experience in urban planning, environmental, energy, or commercial law
• Experience in a law firm or energy company legal department
• Fluency in Dutch or French, with strong English skills
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain clear oversight
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills
• High integrity and collaborative approach
• Analytical thinker with ability to handle complex issues
