Description de la fonction

The Billing Officer is responsible for performing administrative tasks and processing documents and data according to prescribed procedures and available tools, ensuring that accurate administrative records are available on time.
In this role, the employee accurately processes and edits data, correctly distributes, files, and archives documents in accordance with established procedures, and promptly records any irregularities that may occur during administrative operations.

  • Code, sort, verify, and total data
  • Identify and report errors or ambiguities
  • Prepare documents and enter data into the computer system, ensuring accuracy
  • File and archive documents properly
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Work within clearly defined procedures, often determined by computer applications
  • Organize personal workload within assigned priorities
  • Perform recurring administrative tasks

Profil

Our new Billing Officer recognizes him/herself in following points:

  • Ability to organize, prepare, and compile documents using information from multiple sources
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Teamplayer
  • Educational background: high school diploma
  • Junior position (0-3 years) -prior experience is  preferred
  • Experience with alphabetical and coded filing of documents.
  • Familiarity with company-specific software (e.g., AS400, Cargowise) for data entry and retrieval is preferred
  • Knowledge of logistic terminology and daily documentation like incoterms, airway bill
  • Fluency in Dutch, with the ability to use professional terminology in English for requesting and providing data and information, both internally and externally
