My client is a dynamic and growing consultancy specialised in high-quality research, analysis and advisory services across a broad range of EU and national areas. With an international team of 25+ consultants representing over 10 European nationalities, the organisation operates in a vibrant, intellectually stimulating environment where agility, collaboration and continuous improvement are at the core.
To support their expanding operations, they are looking for an Administrative and Office Assistant who thrives in a consultancy or similar professional services environment and has a start-up mindset and is proactive, flexible, hands-on and eager to optimise processes.

Description de la fonction

As the Administrative and Office Assistant, you will play a central role in ensuring seamless office operations and supporting the team's daily activities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations: correspondence, database maintenance, filing systems, supplies and equipment.
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and a professional company image.
  • Coordinate office logistics: meeting room organisation, shared calendar management, travel arrangements and event support.
  • Maintain and update internal administrative protocols and templates to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Support HR processes such as recruitment coordination and onboarding.
  • Assist with administrative tasks linked to tenders and projects, including document preparation and compliance checks.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work atmosphere through structured organisation and friendly, solution-oriented support.

Profil

The ideal candidate brings both structure and initiative, and feels at ease in a consultancy or fast-paced professional services setting. You are someone who enjoys improving processes, taking ownership and contributing to a smooth and engaging office environment.

You bring:

  • Previous experience in consultancy, professional services or a similar environment (a must).
  • Perfect language skills in English and good command of French or Dutch.
  • A start-up mindset: proactive, adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable navigating evolving priorities.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with colleagues and external partners.
  • A collaborative attitude and the drive to support a diverse and international team.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
