Our client is a real estate company.

• 
  
  Tax Automation in SAP:
  • Implement automated processes for VAT code assignment in purchase orders (POs), addressing frequent changes (30-40% of cases).
  • Develop logic to support automatic tax code definition based on country, entity, and type of charge.
• 
  
  VAT Matrix Management:
  • Maintain and enhance the VAT matrix linking input and output tax codes.
  • Translate complex tax and accounting rules into SAP-compatible logic.
  • Ensure consistency and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• 
  
  Digitalisation & Process Improvement:
  • Contribute to the digitalisation of accounting and tax workflows.
  • Support the transition from OCR-based invoice processing to intelligent automation.
  • Implement robotic messaging systems that notify suppliers of changes (e.g., bank account updates).
• 
  
  Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure tax processes align with European VAT legislation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reflect legal requirements in system configurations.
• 
  
  Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with accounting, procurement, and IT teams to integrate tax logic into SAP without requiring deep SAP development expertise.
  • Provide functional input to SAP configuration and testing teams.

Profil

• Solid understanding of European VAT legislation and tax processes.
• Experience with SAP (especially in tax or procurement modules) is a strong asset.
• Ability to translate tax rules into system logic and workflows.
• Familiarity with automation tools and digital accounting processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Avantages du poste

Interesting assignment of minimum 6 months. Project will start in March 2026.
