Our client is a long-established, independent investment firm headquartered in Belgium. With a history of nearly a hundred years, it provides a wide range of financial services including portfolio management, investment advice, and brokerage operations across more than 20 international markets. The firm is known for combining tradition with innovation and operates under the supervision of the National Bank of Belgium.

Description de la fonction

• Conduct independent audits across financial and operational domains
• Report directly to the Board of Directors and relevant committees
• Develop and maintain a risk-based three-year audit plan
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards
• Collaborate with internal control stakeholders including Risk and Compliance
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations
• Maintain unrestricted access to information as per the Audit Charter

Profil

• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Background in law, economics, or business management
• Proven experience in banking, investment firms, or audit consultancies
• Strong knowledge of audit standards and regulatory frameworks
• Fluent in French and good knowledge of Dutch (spoken and written)
• Analytical, autonomous, and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Able to work independently and within a team
