Jobomschrijving

The consultant will:

  • Support Daily Operations:
    • Assist in maintaining the SAC database existing information
    • Assist in updating the SAC database for new reporting requirements
    • Ensure timely adaptation of systems to organizational changes.
    • Errors troubleshoot
    • Preform checks on reporting completeness and errors
    • Ensure publication of the reportings
  • Implement Diagnostic Recommendations:
    • Set up Governance on system adaptation + implementation of changes in the system.
    • Identification of processes with inefficiencies & manual interventions + automation of these processes
    • Harmonize closing calendars and freeze SAC tags.
    • automation of reconciliation processes, set up of cockpit of information (incl. Time Logging of input form BA + errors identification)
    • automation of spotting of differences & follow up on coherence (troubleshot + documentation) drafting of Governance on data quality and system.
    • Coordinate technical adjustments for BFC/SAC alignment.
  • Drive Process Optimization:
    • Document pain points (manual / and propose automation for reconciliation tasks.
    • Contribute to governance formalization for renaming and organizational changes.
  • Prepare for Transformation:
    • transition of reporting to SAC tools
    • Process alignment
    • Participate in functional and technical analysis for the group alignment.
    • Support migration readiness for future ERP and reporting tools.

Profil

We are looking for a Finance Systems & Process Specialist with:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO, SAC, BFC, and related reporting tools.
    • Experience in system adaptation and integration projects.
  • Finance Process Knowledge:
    • Understanding of budgeting cycles, closing processes, and SG&A reporting.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Ability to manage transversal projects and coordinate with IT and Finance stakeholders.
  • Analytical & Governance Competencies:
    • Skilled in process formalization and compliance with standards.
  • Experience & Education:
    • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.
    • 5+ years in finance systems management or controlling.
    • Exposure to transformation projects (ERP migration, process optimization).
