• You identify and assess security issues within the organization.
• You collaborate closely with SOC analysts and infrastructure/development teams.
• You utilize insights from EDR, IDS, and SIEM systems to enhance security measures.
• You provide input on enhancing our applications and infrastructure to prevent security incidents.
• You mentor junior analysts and improve documentation practices.
• You lead and participate in workshops aimed at developing and maintaining security policies.
• You ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and maintains a high standard of quality.

Profil

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cyber security, including 5+ years in a SOC analyst role.
• Belgian nationality (mandatory).
• Eligible for or already holding a Top Secret ("Zeer Geheim") clearance.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure security (networks, servers, workstations, endpoints).
• Strong expertise with Windows, Linux, Android environments.
• Experience leading or coaching teams of 5+ people.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • SIEM/SOAR platforms (Elastic, Splunk, QRadar, etc.)
  • Blue Team tools: tcpdump, Wireshark, Security Onion, Cortex, Darktrace
  • Red Team tools: Nmap, Nessus/Burpsuite, Metasploit
  • IAM, PKI, cryptography, Zero Trust models
  • Solid knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST CSF or ISO 27001.
• Able to grasp complex environments quickly and operate autonomously.
• Excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong documentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other national language and English.

Again, this role is strictly on-site due to the nature of the work and requires a Belgian national with the ability to obtain (or already holding) a "Top Secret" security clearance!!
