Onze klantAs a Compliance Officer, you are responsible for:
-
Contribute to the development and execution of regular second line controls and monitoring tasks, including client and employee surveillance alerts.

Advise and support the businesses on applicable laws and regulations, including the review of new products, business initiatives, control framework and marketing material.

Participate to the regulatory watch in order to determine the applicability and actionability of upcoming Belgian and European legal changes.

Ensure global and local Compliance policies and procedures are reviewed and updated on a timely basis, incorporating regulatory changes and industry best practices.

Help maintain a Compliance staff awareness culture by providing appropriate training to staff.
Profil
-
Relevant experience in the financial sector of at least 3 years in Compliance related processes and matters (MiFID, consumer duties, consumer protection).

Team player committed to demonstrate high integrity in all dealings with colleagues at country and regional (Compliance) level.

Administratively well-organized & mentality of proactively addressing issues in a "risk based approach".

Able to identify issues and solutions or opportunities, as well as to build efficacy in control programs.

Able to handle all oral and written communications in the national languages (French and Dutch) and in English.
