Our client Mayekawa manufactures gas compressors, industrial refrigeration systems and heat pumps. It has branches all over the world. The European branch is located in Zaventem, right next to Brussels, and counts about 100 employees.

We are now looking for someone to support the Light Chemicals department in its presales activities.

In this role you will be part of the Light Chemicals sales department, working closely together with the engineering department. You report to the Key Account Manager and your role is to prepare technical proposals and cost calculations for customers.

Job content:

• You will work on several small to medium-sized projects.
• You create detailed quotations for existing and new customers.
• With the help of the engineering team, you make a preliminary design of the proposed unit.
• You check the customer's specifications and negotiate them.
• Drawing up the cost calculation of the project. In addition, you negotiate with a potential supplier.
• You will be in close contact with other departments such as Engineering and Quality.

Profil

• You have a bachelor's degree with an engineering background (or equivalent through experience).
• Knowledge of compressors is required, knowledge of refrigeration cycle and thermodynamics is an asset.
• You are an enthusiastic team player.
• You can work within agreed deadlines.
• You will feel at home in an international and multicultural environment.
• You can work with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• You communicate and write fluently in English.
• Working in an open office space is not a problem for you.
• You take initiative and work independently.
