Description de la fonction
As Senior Key Account Manager for Retail clients, you will be responsible for leading and growing strategic partnerships with top-tier retail customers. You will define long-term customer strategies, lead high-level negotiations, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth aligned with the company's global and local objectives.
This is a senior commercial role with strong exposure to executive stakeholders, both internally and externally, requiring a strategic mindset, leadership maturity, and excellent execution capabilities.
Key responsibilities
- Own full P&L responsibility for strategic retail accounts
- Define and execute multi-year customer strategies and Joint Business Plans
- Lead annual negotiations and complex commercial agreements at senior buyer level
- Drive sustainable growth across revenue, margin, distribution, and market share
- Ensure disciplined management of trade spend, forecasts, and performance KPIs
- Translate shopper, category and customer insights into strategic recommendations
- Act as the key interface between retailers and internal senior stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional account teams to ensure best-in-class execution
- Contribute to strategic projects and represent Sales in leadership forums
Profil
- Master in Business engineering or similar
- 8-10 years of experience in FMCG sales, with strong exposure to retail key accounts
- Proven experience managing strategic, high-revenue customers
- Excellent negotiation skills and strong financial acumen
- Ability to operate at both strategic and executive levels
- Strong leadership, influencing and decision-making capabilities
- Structured, analytical, and results-oriented mindset
- Fluent in French, Dutch and English
