For this SME active in the installation and maintenance of cutting-edge entertainment technology systems, we are looking for an experienced accountant to join their human-sized team.

The company wishes to internalize the accounting management of its activities, which until now has been carried out exclusively by an external partner.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and flexibility, increasing responsibilities, and long-term career development opportunities.

The position is based in Merchtem.

Accountant - The Role

- The booking of various invoices (AP/AR/bank statements)

- The preparation of month-end closings & VAT returns

- The execution of payments to the company's suppliers

- The follow-up of unpaid invoices

- Act as point of contact for the external accounting firm

- The preparation of the annual accounts

- The continuous improvement of the company's processes in the financial department

Profil

Accountant - About You

- You have obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or in a related field

- You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role (SME, large company or in an accounting firm)

- You are fluent in Dutch and English, French is a plus
