Are you a vision-driven expert in the modern workplace? At Randstad Digital, we are looking for an experienced Digital Workplace Lead Engineer to shape the digital transformation for one of our premier partners in Brussels. In this role, you will lead the transition from in-house services to a streamlined managed service model. You will act as the bridge between technical innovation and business needs, directly impacting the daily productivity and user experience of thousands of colleagues.
  • Location: Hybrid (Brussels Region / Remote)
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in Digital Workplace Engineering or IT Infrastructure.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent through experience.
Your Tasks:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital workplace solutions (AV, collaboration, and connectivity).
  • Drive the transition from in-house services to a managed service model, ensuring process governance and supplier accountability.
  • Manage external suppliers and service providers, ensuring SLAs are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Act as a strategic point of contact for internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps.
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across all digital services.
  • Establish and maintain technical documentation, governance processes, and performance tracking.
Your Profile:
  • Deep technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS, and the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint).
  • Extensive experience with endpoint management tools such as Workspace ONE and Microsoft Intune.
  • Proven track record in supplier management and overseeing managed services (SLA management, contract management).
  • A structured and proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to transform complex challenges into actionable solutions.
