Are you the technical jack-of-all-trades who keeps our machines running? Do you want to work in a friendly team, surrounded by the delicious scent of fresh cookies? Then you are the Maintenance Technician we are looking for for a company in Ostend!

As a maintenance technician, you will have a varied set of tasks in a two-shift system from Monday to Friday.

Your work schedule:

• Early shift: 04:30 AM - 01:00 PM (Friday until 11:00 AM)
• Late shift: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM (Friday until 06:00 PM)

A glimpse into your responsibilities:

• You solve technical malfunctions quickly and effectively.
• You perform both scheduled and urgent maintenance.
• You replace or repair defective mechanical components (e.g., bearings and gear transmissions) and adjust them accurately.
• You resolve electrical faults by locating defects and replacing parts.
• You carry out preventive maintenance to avoid problems.
• You actively look for technical improvement opportunities, from idea to execution.
• You contribute to large-scale technical projects and ensure accurate documentation.

Profil

• You have excellent knowledge of electricity and mechanics, supplemented by a solid foundation in pneumatics and hydraulics.
• You speak Dutch well or English, read technical plans fluently, and understand English-language manuals.
• You are an independent and stress-resistant professional who is capable of solving problems.
• You are eager to learn and open to internal training to broaden your skills.
• In the food industry, your attention to order, cleanliness, safety, and hygiene is of crucial importance.
• A certificate for a forklift and/or aerial work platform is a nice plus.

You are the maintenance technician who enjoys a varied range of work.
