As an import Logistics Clerk, you play a crucial role in coordinating export processes and providing excellent customer service. Your tasks:

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
  • Track and trace Air export files as required
  • Use Workflows on daily basis
  • Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for export shipments
  • Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
  • Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
  • Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, trucking companies, and others)
  • Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer's policies / requirements.
  • Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
  • Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated
  • Meet KPI standards, as per the company procedures
  • Keying of air import shipment according to the KPI s and customer's requirements.
  • Release files according to KPI and customer requirements in compliance with all rules and regulations
  • Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)

Profil

  • 2-3 years related experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Understanding of air documentation process is needed
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Pro-active, strong organizational skills
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word)
  • IATA certification (preferred)
  • Fluent in English end a good level of dutch
  • Eligible to work in Belgium
