About the role

Join our client's team to improve a high-end messaging platform used by top financial clients. We're looking for a Backend Test Engineer who loves automation and has an interest in DevOps.
You'll work in a friendly, Agile team, helping to make our software faster, safer, and more reliable.

What you'll do

• Create and run backend tests
• Automate testing to save time and reduce errors
• Fix complex integration issues
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Work closely with engineers and analysts

What we're looking for

• Must-have:
  • Strong Java coding skills
    
  • Experience with backend testing and troubleshooting
    
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, Maven
    
• Nice to have:
  • Automation tools: Selenium, Cucumber
    
  • Scripting: Python, Shell, Perl
    
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
    
• Soft skills:
