Responsibilities as a Non-Financial Risk Manager : Translate the vision for non-financial risk management into a concrete policy and clear objectives for the team Manage the entire framework for monitoring and conducting (special) investigations related to non-financial risks, while supporting strategic risk management initiatives Develop a risk-based annual action plan covering monitoring, investigations, and advisory services, in close coordination with other control functions and relevant stakeholders. Monitor progress and report on implementation Motivate, coach, and develop team members, fostering an environment where the status quo is constructively challenged Oversee capacity and budget planning to ensure objectives are achieved in a customer-focused, cost-efficient, and effective manner Deliver timely and accurate reporting on relevant risk data, take corrective actions to meet KPIs and business plan targets, and evaluate outcomes to adjust where necessary

An exciting opportunity awaits for a Non-Financial Risk Manager in Antwerp's banking sector. In this strategic leadership role, you will strengthen non-financial risk governance, translate vision into action, and ensure robust frameworks that protect and support sustainable business growth.
Responsibilities as a Non-Financial Risk Manager : Translate the vision for non-financial risk management into a concrete policy and clear objectives for the team Manage the entire framework for monitoring and conducting (special) investigations related to non-financial risks, while supporting strategic risk management initiatives Develop a risk-based annual action plan covering monitoring, investigations, and advisory services, in close coordination with other control functions and relevant stakeholders. Profil
About you : You are a fluent Dutch speaker with a good command of English; French is a plus You have approximately 10 years of experience in a regulated environment, ideally in banking or insurance, within a control function (Risk or Internal Audit) You hold a university-level degree You combine strong strategic and analytical thinking with a results-driven mindset and the confidence to take well-considered decisions, always keeping the customer's interests at the forefront You maintain a clear long-term vision, understand the broader organizational context, and focus on what truly matters without losing yourself in unnecessary detail You communicate transparently and effectively, influence stakeholders at all levels, and are able to transform resistance into constructive solutions You bring extensive experience in risk management within the banking and insurance sectors, with a deep understanding of non-financial risk frameworks You have proven experience in leading, inspiring, and developing a team to achieve ambitious objectivesCompétences linguistiques
