As a Freelance Business / Financial Controller, your responsibilities are:

• Oversee all financial controlling activities for the Belgian entity (with possible scope extension to France/Luxembourg)
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Monitor project performance and provide detailed financial analysis on large-scale developments
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to management
• Support strategic decision-making through financial insights and business partnering
• Analyze variances, risks, and opportunities across projects and operations
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and internal controls
• Collaborate closely with accounting, project teams, and senior management

Profil

A successful Freelance Business / Financial Controller, should have:

• Proven experience as a Business Controller / Financial Controller, in the real estate sector
• Strong understanding of project-based financial management and large budgets
• Experience in multi-entity or international environments is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of IFRS ia a plus
• Languages: English + French or Dutch (both is a strong plus)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
