Our client operates in the chemical sector and is recognized for reliable product quality, technical expertise, and strong customer partnerships. To reinforce their commercial and operational teams, they are seeking an accurate and service-minded Order Management & Administrative Support Specialist.

In this role, you will take ownership of the full order-to-delivery process, ensuring smooth and timely coordination with customers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders. In addition, you will support a range of general administrative tasks linked to operational, commercial, and documentation processes.
Order Management
- Process and monitor customer orders from receipt to shipment.
- Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and warehousing teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain accurate customer and order data in the ERP system.
- Prepare essential documentation such as delivery notes, invoices, and transport documents.
- Track order status, stock availability, and delivery schedules; proactively communicate updates.
- Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, product availability, and delivery issues.
- Follow up on delays, discrepancies, or logistics challenges and propose solutions.
Administrative Support
- Assist with preparing internal reports, product or shipment documentation, and data updates.
- Support administrative tasks related to compliance, safety documentation, or quality processes.
- Manage document filing, contract updates, and customer records.
- Help with coordination of service providers, suppliers, or external partners when needed.
- Provide general administrative support to commercial and operational teams.
Profil
- 2-3 years of experience in order management, customer service, logistics coordination, or a similar administrative role.
- Experience in the chemical sector or another regulated environment is an advantage.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Good proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office tools.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a reliable team player.
