For an international client located in Zaventem, we are looking for a motivated and hands-on
Assistant Accountant to support a small team. The vacancy arises due to the upcoming
retirement of a colleague. Are you looking for a varied role with a good work-life balance? Then

Key responsibilities as Assistant Accountant

You will report directly to the Finance Director.

* Assisting with customer invoicing for all EMEA entities.
* Following up on outstanding customer invoices and payments (AR / AP).
* Sending payment reminders and contacting customers by phone when necessary for
the EMEA entities.
* Daily processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
* Assisting with account reconciliations for the EMEA entities.
* Preparing and generating weekly and monthly reports.
* Handling administrative tasks related to relocation

Profil

Skilss and experience as Assistant Accountant

* 0-2 years of basic accounting experience, preferably with some experience in accounts
payable.
* Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and other commonly used
accounting software; good typing skills with the ability to quickly and accurately enter
alphanumeric data, including the use of a 10-key keypad.
* Knowledge of Sage Intacct is a plus.
* Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required; French and/or Dutch is an asset.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple time-sensitive deadlines efficiently, and
remain motivated when working autonomously.
