Our client is one of the world's largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global company. They operate in 170 countries and employ more than 350,000 people. For their site in Diest, they are looking for a Customer Support Specialist. This concerns a short-term assignment of several months. No information about extension available at the moment. In this position you will be apart of the Supply chain department handling autoservice parts,  accessories and information. This at the right time, through lean integrated logistics, exceeding Customer & Stakeholder expectation, with engaged members realising a sustainable future.

You will be part of Operations Control Division,  Customer support department

Your responsibilities:

  • A portion of the national sales companies will be assigned to you
  • Establish a good relationship with the customers
  • Provide customer service via phone, email. Solve their problems. This can be on various topics such as product orders, claim handling, returns, customer set up or maintenance
  • You will analyse, monitor and interpret the business performance through use of reports
  • And...... As you take leadership in cross functional improvement projects, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse departments (transport, operations, procurement, sales,.) and to align direction with top management.

Profil

Who are we looking for? 

  • You have a bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain , Economics or Business Management.
  • You already have minimum of 2 years experience is a similar position. 
  • You are communicative: As business language is in English, you speak & write it fluently
  • You are teamplayer
  • You see challenges as a development opportunity and demonstrate flexibility when required by the team or business
  • You have a strong knowledge of Office 365 applications (excel, access, PBI)
  • Our customer is a fact based company with Kaizen as there middle name, hence you will need to switch between analytical and creative thinking.
  • You have strong planning and organisation skills
