Job Title: AI Governance Program Manager
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work model: Hybrid, 2 days on site per week
Language: English required
Contract: Approx. 12 months

Context

Our client, a major organization in the telecommunications and digital services sector, is strengthening its AI governance capabilities to support safe and compliant AI adoption across the group.
They are looking for an AI Governance Program Manager to coordinate and structure an enterprise level AI governance program involving stakeholders across IT, Data, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams.
This role is focused on AI and data governance coordination, not on AI development or data science.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and structure the AI Governance Program roadmap, milestones, and reporting
  
• Organize governance activities such as steering committees, working groups, and decision tracking
  
• Support the definition and rollout of AI governance standards, policies, and lifecycle processes
  
• Align stakeholders across technical and business teams and facilitate workshops when required
  
• Prepare reporting and decision material for senior management
  
• Coordinate governance tooling and ensure alignment with existing data governance and risk frameworks
  
• Monitor program progress, adoption, and compliance
  
• Support documentation of the governance operating model and transition to internal ownership
  

Profile

• Master's degree in IT, Engineering, Business Engineering, or similar experience
  
• Around 5+ years of experience in AI related initiatives and strong background in data governance, risk, or regulatory programs
  
• Proven experience managing cross functional governance or transformation programs
  
• Good understanding of AI governance, EU AI Act, or regulatory frameworks related to data and AI
  
• Experience with governance platforms such as Collibra is an asset
  
• Familiarity with AI architecture concepts is a plus
  
• Fluent in English, French or Dutch is a plus
