Finance Operations Manager H/F/X

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance Operations Manager (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the technology / robotics sector.

As Finance Operations Manager (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the day-to-day financial management of a group of entities in Belgium and the Netherlands;
• Leading a team of two accountants and managing operational execution across the finance department;
• Ensuring timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings (BE GAAP, NL GAAP, IFRS) and contributing to group consolidation;
• Preparing group reporting, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating closely with the CFO and executive management on strategic topics;
• Overseeing tax compliance and all related operations (VAT, corporate income tax, transfer pricing), serving as the point of contact for auditors and external consultants;
• Managing cash flow planning, supporting budget and forecasting processes, and identifying risks and improvement opportunities;
• Coordinating payroll preparation in cooperation with external providers (Belgium & Netherlands) and handling payroll-related administration.

The required profile for the Finance Operations Manager (m/f/x) position:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Minimum 7 years' relevant experience in accounting, consolidation, or finance operations;
• Solid expertise in BE GAAP; IFRS experience is a strong asset; familiarity with NL GAAP is a plus;
• A thorough understanding of tax compliance (VAT, corporate income tax), consolidation, and intercompany eliminations; experience with transfer pricing principles;
• Experience collaborating with external auditors;
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred);
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both oral and written;
• Hands-on, accurate, analytical, and detail-oriented; capable of working autonomously within a small team;
