Our client is an international industrial organization currently centralizing finance activities into a shared services model to improve efficiency, standardization, and scalability. As part of this transformation, key accounting and reporting processes are being migrated from local teams to a centralized Finance Centre of Excellence.

Description de la fonction

As a Freelance Transition Lead - Accounting & SSC Migration your responsibilities are:

• Lead the transition of general ledger, accounts receivable / credit management, and management reporting activities to a centralized finance team
• Develop and execute a structured transition and stabilization plan
• Coordinate process documentation, training, and knowledge transfer between local and central teams
• Monitor transition progress, operational KPIs, and service quality towards internal stakeholders
• Identify risks or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process standardization
• Act as key liaison between regional finance stakeholders and central shared services leadership

Profil

As a Freelance Transition Lead - Accounting & SSC Migration you have:

• Proven experience in finance transformation, shared services migration, or process centralization initiatives
• Strong background in general ledger accounting and transactional finance operations
• Good understanding of financial reporting processes and operational finance KPIs
• Experience working with SAP
• Strong stakeholder management and change leadership skills to coach successors
• Languages: English + Dutch
• Flexible, able to work part-time on-site in Belgium
