For one of our clients in Belgium, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who will join our team.

Context of the mission / Objective(s) of the job
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of applications by defining, executing, and automating test strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to validate functionalities and support deployment decisions.
Responsibilities:

• Write test plans and test scenarios based on documentation and requirements
• Recommend test scope (e.g., non-regression) based on risks and acceptance criteria
• Perform: Functional testing, Non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.), Integration testing, Non-regression testing
• Prepare and manage test data
• Execute tests and document results (logs, screenshots)
• Implement and maintain automated test suites
• Select and automate relevant test cases
• Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to ensure quality delivery
• Validate releases and support deployment decisions
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test design and execution
• Experience in test automation and/or scripting (e.g., Python)
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of APIs, web services, and system architecture
• Experience with Agile/Scrum

 
Nice to have:

• Robot Framework
• RabbitMQ
• DevOps tools/tickets
• Security testing

• Proactive, result-driven, and pragmatic
• Team player with autonomy

Languages:

• English (mandatory)
• French and/or Dutch (preferred)
