Senior Accountant - Retail Sector - Brussels H/F/X

Join a leading international group's retail entity based in the heart of Brussels.
The finance team consists of 5 professionals, and you will report directly to the Accounting Manager.
The role is varied and challenging, offering excellent learning opportunities.
The position comes with an attractive gross salary and includes 2 days of remote work per week.

Description de la fonction

• Manage general accounting and monthly/annual closings.
• Oversee general ledger, reconciliations, and CAPEX postings.
• Process sales, COGS, and intercompany transactions.
• Reconcile payroll and maintain accounting archives.
• Support system/process improvements and ad hoc projects.
• Prepare financial reporting, tax filings, and cash flow analysis.
• Assist with audit preparation and execution.
• Support Accounts Payable operations and supplier management.

Profil

• Fluent in French, Dutch is a strong asset.
• Proven experience as an independent accountant.
• Strong knowledge of taxation.
• Experience in an international company is an advantage.
• Familiarity with a corporate environment is a plus.
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in SAP is an advantage.
• Able to work autonomously and manage varied accounting tasks.
