Our client is a leading international consumer organization with a strong and growing footprint in the European policy landscape. Recently expanding its influence following structural changes in the EU consumer advocacy ecosystem, the organization is gaining visibility and strategic importance within the EU Bubble.

With operations across six countries (Belgium, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Poland, and Brazil), the group employs around 1,000 people, including a significant presence in Brussels. The Corporate Affairs & Public Relations team plays a central role in shaping advocacy, communication, and partnerships with institutions and market players.

Description de la fonction

  • Monitor EU and international developments in digital and consumer policy
  • Identify strategic opportunities for advocacy and partnerships
  • Lead analysis and positioning on digital policy topics impacting consumers
  • Contribute to broader consumer policy files from a legal perspective
  • Build and maintain a strong network of institutional, business, and civil society stakeholders
  • Develop coalitions to amplify policy impact
  • Collaborate closely with communication and enforcement teams to align messaging and strategy
  • Support B2B collaborations and partnerships with market players
  • Contribute to the organization of events and representation activities

Profil

  • Master's degree in Law
  • 7-10 years of experience in EU policy, advocacy, or consulting
  • Strong expertise in digital policy and good understanding of wider consumer policy topics
  • Experience outside law firms is welcome; in-house, institutional, or consulting backgrounds are relevant
  • Business acumen is a strong asset
  • Excellent command of English; French and/or Dutch are a plus
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and rigorous
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build networks and coalitions
  • Solution-oriented, pragmatic, and collaborative mindset
