Description de la fonction

The Assistant IT Manager supports the IT Manager in managing, maintaining, and optimizing all hotel IT systems to ensure seamless, secure operations aligned with luxury hospitality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 IT support to staff and VIP guests
  • Troubleshoot issues related to IT systems (PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, telephony, etc.)
  • Ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure
  • Administer hotel systems (Opera PMS, reservation systems, POS systems)
  • Monitor interfaces between different platforms
  • Assist with system updates and deployments
  • Maintain servers, network infrastructure, and hardware (switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points)
  • Ensure data security, backups, and access control
  • Monitor network performance and resolve outages
  • Ensure high-quality Wi-Fi service for guests
  • Manage in-room technologies (smart TVs, automation systems, IoT devices)
  • Support innovative solutions (mobile apps, digital check-in, etc.)
  • Assist in IT projects (new system implementations, upgrades, renovations)
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers
  • Train staff on IT tools and systems
  • Enforce IT policies and hotel brand standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS)
  • Participate in internal and external audits

TALENT PROFILE

  • Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service (luxury hotel experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of hotel systems (Opera, Micros, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of networks, systems, and user support
  • Strong service mindset and professional presentation
